Pillar 4 – Semiconductor & Memory Centric Research

The mission and vision of Pillar 4 is to foster and grow a vibrant and cutting-edge research community focused broadly on microelectronics with an emphasis on memory-centric research. UPWARDS researchers engage in research-focused lightning talks, visits to partner universities to deliver seminars, and collaborative research projects. 

Pillar 4 aims to build and deepen connections in memory-centric and broad semiconductor research, to further innovation in this area and prepare students for semiconductor careers in the US and Japan.
